You must leave the door open
Then see what will happen
Because you will never know the truth
If they are locked up in your prison
If it was really meant to be
Then it will be eventually
But you will never know the truth
Unless you set that person free
And if they turn out to be a cheater
There there really is nothing
That you could have said or done
Do not listen to your insecurities
And try not to take it personally
They would have cheated on anyone
People like that have no concept of loyalty
They will never be honest or true
Its really more a reflection upon them
Than it is upon you
But you will never know the truth
Unless you set somebody free
And you must only give your heart away
To those that can prove
That they truly are trustworthy
